Eden's Photo Shoot...

Eden had always understood the power of being looked at. It came with the territory. Sorority parties, campus events, the soft hierarchy of beauty and confidence that defined her world. And then there was modeling, where that attention sharpened into something more deliberate. Controlled. Artistic. Tonight’s shoot felt different from the moment she arrived. The studio lights were already warm, casting a golden glow over racks of delicate fabrics. Black lace, ivory silk, barely-there bikinis in soft pastels. Eden adjusted the strap of her black lace bralette, the fabric hugging her skin like a secret, and smoothed down her short, flowy black satin skirt. She caught her reflection in a mirror, dark hair falling in loose waves, eyes steady but curious. “You must be Eden,” a soft and sexy voice said. Eden turned toward the voice. It was a very beautiful blonde, tall, lanky, sexy, standing near a backdrop, sunlight practically woven into her hair. She wore a white bikini that seemed to glow under the lights, her smile easy, disarming. “I’m Lila,” she said, stepping forward. Before Eden could respond, another voice joined them. “And I’m Maren.” Another sexy, sultry, girly voice. Eden turned and saw a beautiful redhead girl, fair skin, deep green eyes, long flowing curly strands that seemed to go on forever. Maren leaned casually against a prop wall, her deep, rich red hair framing a face that felt almost too striking to be real. She wore a black and red sheer lace bra and thong panty set that mirrored Eden’s in mood, if not in detail, though Eden’s sexy sheer black lacy thong was still hidden under her flowy skirt. Something immediately shifted in Eden. Subtle, almost unnoticeable, like the first drop of a rain storm. The shoot began simply. Individual poses. Soft direction from the photographer. Adjustments of shoulders, chin, hips. Lila was first, posing so flawlessly and effortlessly in that little white sexy bikini. Maren then joined in, the two girls posing playfully, as if they were definitely not strangers to each other. Eden watched intently, the two girls posing close together, preening, flirting with the camera, and with each other. Holding hands, arms around each other, soft and sexy embraces, heads resting against each other, one time looking like they were seconds away from a kiss. Eden was so engrossed in watching she almost forgot that she was there to work, too. “Let’s bring you three together,” the photographer called. Eden had worked for her a few times in the past, but all three times were solo shoots, never with other girls like tonight. “Eden, do you have matching black panties on under that skirt?” the photographer asked, referring obviously to the fact that the top Eden was wearing was nothing more than a lace bralette. “I do,” Eden said. “Great,” the photographer smiled. “No need to mess with getting something off the rack,” she continued, “just drop that skirt, leave on the heels, and get over here.” Ever the consummate professional, Eden complied and did so with a smile, sliding down the little black satin flowy skirt, revealing her black sheer lace sexy thong and all of her sexy shapes that skirt was hiding. Eden felt everyone’s eyes on her as her heels clicked on the concrete floor as she made her way over to the other girls. There it was. That sensation, those butterflies, the flutter, that got her so interested in modeling in the first place. The three girls gathered under the lights, close enough that Eden could feel the warmth of their skin without quite touching. Lila’s laughter brushed the air, light and effortless, while Maren’s presence was quieter, intent, like she was always observing something deeper. “Great,” the photographer said. “Get closer. Relax into each other.” Lila slipped an arm loosely around Eden’s waist. Eden felt Lila’s just like it was a spark. Not uncomfortable. Not wrong. Just…new. And exciting. Maren stepped in behind them, her hand grazing Eden’s shoulder as she adjusted her stance. The touch lingered a fraction longer than necessary and Eden enjoyed it more than she ever enjoyed someone touching her before. “Perfect,” the photographer murmured. “Now look at each other.” Eden turned her head toward Lila. For a moment, everything else softened. The lights, the clicking camera, the distant hum of music. There was just the curve of Lila’s smile, the warmth in her eyes, the closeness. Eden felt her breath quicken. She turned slightly, meeting Maren’s gaze next. There was something steadier there, something that made Eden feel seen in a way she hadn’t expected. Not as a model. Not as the “beautiful brunette.” Just…seen. The rest of the shoot passed in a blur of movement and fabric and soft laughter. Hands brushing hands. Glances that lingered just a little too long. The kind of closeness that was easy to dismiss as part of the job. It was short and sweet – just the one outfit – just the one set of pics. The photographer said she had everything she needed just about ten minutes in. She dismissed the girls and called for her team to get the products on the rack ready for stationary website shots. Lila and Maren made quick work of giving Eden quick little hugs and raced off together towards the door before Eden could even get in a word. Eden felt accomplished, happy with the quick work she had done, but also, she felt a little unfulfilled, as if she was longing for more time with the girls.

That night, back in her room at the sorority house, Eden lay in bed staring at the ceiling. The car ride home had been a bit of a fog, her thoughts abuzz, strangely to her, about Lila and Maren. Had they left together? Where did they go? Was that just work for them, or was there something more? Eden was still wearing what she had worn to the photo shoot, though she had kicked off her heels before getting into bed. The house was quieter than usual, the distant echo of laughter downstairs fading into the background. Her room still smelled faintly of perfume and hairspray from when she got ready for the photo shoot earlier. Amid her continual thoughts recounting the night’s shoot, Eden closed her eyes and drifted. In her dream, the world felt softer. The backyard pool shimmered under twilight, the water reflecting streaks of lavender and gold across the sky. Eden stood at the edge, barefoot, the cool stone under her feet grounding her. “Miss us already?” She turned. Lila and Maren stood just beyond the gate, as if they’d always belonged there. Lila wore that same sexy white bikini again, her hair loose and glowing in the fading light. Maren was beside her, darker, quieter, her gaze locked onto Eden like she’d been waiting. For some reason, Maren’s cute and sexy lingerie set had been replaced with a very tiny, very sexy black satin thong bikini. “You came,” Eden said, though she didn’t remember inviting them. “Of course we did,” Lila replied, stepping closer. “You didn’t think today was the end, did you?” Eden shook her head no, though she wasn’t fully sure why. Lila and Maren came in through the pool gate, moved toward Eden, and then, the three of them moved toward the pool together, the air warm, charged with something unspoken but understood. They walked down the wide pool steps and slipped into the water, laughter rippling between them. It was easy. Too easy. The way they moved around each other, the way their closeness felt natural instead of strange. At some point, the laughter softened. They drifted closer. Eden found herself between them, Lila on one side, Maren on the other. Water lapped gently around them, the world narrowing to just the three of them and the quiet rhythm of their breathing. Lila reached for Eden first, taking her hand into hers. “Hey,” she said softly. Eden looked at her, then at Maren. There was a question there, but not one that needed words. Eden answered anyway. By leaning in. The first kiss was soft, almost hesitant. A moment of discovery more than certainty. Lila smiled against her lips, warm and bright, while Maren’s presence beside her grounded everything, steady and sure. When Eden turned, meeting Maren’s gaze, the second kiss felt different. It was deeper, quieter, almost forceful, like a secret unfolding. Yet, it all felt right. Not confusing. Not overwhelming. Just…true.
